NO ALARMS & NO SURPRISES

In the Mixed Reality course in the 5th semester of my Media Informatics degree, I learned how to write VR and AR applications and games for Unity.

There I worked in a group on a VR co-op game in which a safe had to be cracked.

The safe to be cracked has 3 different puzzle modules, which have different states in each round of the game. To crack the safe in this game two players work together:

A “hacker” has a manual with instructions on how to crack the safe modules and communicates with the “agent”, who wears the VR goggles, avoids cameras in a junkyard environment and solves the modules.

In the group, which consisted of 3 people, I was responsible for the design of the modules and the environment as well as a large part of the gameplay programming.
