FOTOSERIEN

In the first semester of my media informatics degree, I learned how to use cameras and take professional photographs in the photography technology course.

The task of the assignment was to create two professional photo series.

The first photo series was to be about a person and their activity. I photographed my mother driving her car, with a particular focus on the central points of concentration, such as the hand on the wheel, on the lever, looking in the mirror, etc.

The second photo series was about color surfaces that can be found in everyday life. I was out and about around the university and took photos of monochrome objects. It was particularly exciting to find monochrome yet creative surfaces, such as the surface of a metal table.

The camera I used was a Sony Alpha 7 II. I digitally post-processed both photo series and then put them together as collages.
